Mold Removal Services in Fort Myers

Five services, one principle — find the moisture, remove what it grew, and prove the structure is dry before anything gets closed up.

Fort Myers Mold Removal Co. handles the full chain southwest Florida moisture produces: water damage drying ($1,000–$8,000), remediation ($500–$6,000), inspection (free to $900), AC and duct cleanup (from $600), and attic work (from $1,500).

Water Damage Restoration

Extraction and metered structural drying — the step that decides whether you ever need remediation.

Why the services come as a set

Moisture doesn't respect a product line, and in this market it arrives two ways: from the air during the wet season, and from water events that were dried in a hurry. The same moisture that condenses in an air handler grows in a closet, collects on attic sheathing above a bath fan, and sits inside a wall that got closed too early. We're organized around the moisture rather than around one product, which is why an inspection reads the whole chain and the scope includes only the links your house needs.

Most homes here need one of these plus a moisture correction — and the correction is usually the cheaper half.

Sequence is the service

Anyone can scrub a wall. The skill is ordering the work so it stays fixed: identify and stop the moisture first, contain before removing, remove rather than treat, dry to a measured standard rather than a schedule, and rebuild only when the readings allow it. That last step is where this region's mold problems were manufactured, which is why we won't skip it and why we hand over the moisture log at the end.

Service questions

Which service do I actually need?

The inspection answers it in about an hour. Standing water means extraction and drying, immediately. Visible growth means remediation. Odor in a repaired room with nothing visible means meters and thermal imaging first. Musty air from the vents means the AC system. The inspection is free precisely so the diagnosis doesn't depend on what we'd like to sell.

Do you charge for inspections?

No. Moisture readings by location, indoor humidity, thermal imaging, the air handler and drain line, bath fan terminations, exterior intrusion points, photographs, and a written scope with fixed prices are free across all ten communities we serve — including the visits that end with 'buy a dehumidifier.'

Can one company handle the water and the mold?

That's the point of the stack, and here it's the difference between one job and two. Drying done properly to a measured standard usually prevents remediation entirely; drying done cosmetically creates it. What we won't do is assess and remediate the same project when Florida law separates those roles — we'll tell you when an independent assessment is the right call.
